State of California Department of Water Resources

The Department of Water Resources supports Integrated Regional Water Management with $1.5 billion in grant funding for more than 550 projects throughout California as well technical and facilitation services for almost 50 planning groups.

San Diego Integrated Regional Water Management Program

The IRWM is responsible for integrated water planning in the San Diego Region and also for securing $90 million in grant funding to support more than 55 projects that help to achieve the region’s water management goals.

WaterSmart Landscape

Using water efficiently is a way of life and an important responsibility when living in a beautiful Mediterranean climate such as the one we enjoy in San Diego County. WaterSmart tools and programs, offered by the San Diego County Water Authority and its 24 member agencies, are all about rethinking the way we use our limited water resources and making smart choices that eliminate waste.
